Somerset Wedding Photographer
One of my favourite wedding venues for wedding photography would have to be Clevedon Hall. Set back from the seafront and hidden by a large brick wall this venue is Clevedon’s hidden gem. A 150 year old elegant Victorian mansion it is naturally steeped in character and beautiful features (such as the huge bay windows which allow light to stream into the ceremony rooms). Having undergone a £3 million refurbishment it is clear why this is one of the top wedding venues in the South-West.
What I also love about this wedding venue aside from its location (two minutes from the Grade 1 listed pier – great for your engagement or wedding day couple photos), are the elegant details including the stained glass ceiling in the main entrance hall and the dramatic sweeping oak staircases plus there is an orangery which is filled with plenty of natural light.

Hints & Tips for your Clevedon Hall wedding
You’ll find the Clevedon Hall team extremely helpful when you book, they can suggest suppliers who you might want to work with, florists, make up, cake makers etc.
Summer weddings can take advantage of the flower meadow in the grounds; the blue and yellow flowers provide a perfect photography location.
With such beautiful grounds, you could consider bringing some garden games for your guests to have fun with during the day, croquet, giant connect 4 all go down well – adults turn into little kids at the sight of them!
The Head Chef at Clevedon Hall is Michelin starred, having eaten here I can promise you that you and your wedding guests will not be disappointed by the food.
When you book your wedding at the venue you’ll be provided with a handy list of around 10 local B&B’s and hotels in Clevedon for any guests who may decide not to stay in any of Clevedon Hall’s 25 bedrooms.
