Kingscote Barn Wedding Photography
From the moment you descend down the long, winding driveway to Kingscote Barn it is easy to see why this is a very popular Cotswold country barn wedding venue loved by many couples. I love the exposed brickwork, original beams and the way the ceremony / reception room lets in lots of natural light. This is a great Gloucestershire wedding venue with picturesque views from the garden across the fields – a perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.
The staff are known for providing exceptional levels of organisation and customer focus and as a supplier I’ve always found the team to be really friendly and professional. The venue won both the 2014 Wedding Industry awards regional category for best venue and the best venue in the 2015 Bristol & Somerset Wedding Awards, so it is not surprising that this is a very popular choice with couples looking for a Cotswold country barn venue.

Hints and Tips
Kingscote can accommodate up to 34 guests on site. Brides often choose to book Spring Cottage which is on site to get ready in, however if you don’t fancy checking out by 10:00am or it is not available then consider booking a venue in Kingscote or Tetbury. Past couples have booked Greydawn Cottage and Doughton Cottages (two cottages available).
The Stonehouse Travelodge is also handy accommodation for guests wishing to stay over.
The Linhay is a beautiful wooden covered area for outdoor wedding ceremonies, this also makes a great spot for natural framing of your group photos.
The Blue Zucchini in Church Street, Tetbury is a small brasserie which is an ideal informal venue to meet up with family or friends for lunch the day after your wedding.
Winter weddings in January and February benefit from the very pretty ceiling light canopy which lights up the main barn room in such an amazing way.
The beams in the main area of the barn are a real feature. Consider asking your florist to decorate these with foliage for real impact.
Ensure you plan at least 30 minutes into your wedding schedule for your couple photographs and then head up to the driveway to take advantage of the rolling hills and fields in your wedding photos.
