A riot of colour as far as you look, this once a year floral spectacular is worth the hours drive from Bristol. These confetti fields are my all time favourite location for family photography, I think you’ll agree this is a special place when you look through my images below.
I wanted to share a small selection of the many family sessions I was lucky enough to photography there recently. You wouldn’t guess from the below that the fields were in fact teaming with people – it was the last day of opening for the year and previous days had seen bad weather which had closed the fields, so my shoot day saw the fields extra busy.
The fields are home to the Real Flower Petal Confetti company who make natural confetti from the acres of delphiniums and wildflowers that they grow here, harvesting them once a year. With a pop-up cafe and seating area it’s a great place to visit.
Are you interested in a family photoshoot (or even a couple shoot) in the confetti flower fields next year? I’ll be back shooting over a number of days next year so do get in touch if you’d like to be added to my waiting list for shoot dates. These are my most popular sessions. Shoots are in 40 minute sessions and you can expect to receive a minimum of 45 images. These shorter sessions are the perfect length as they ensure children don’t get bored and you get beautiful photographs that you’ll love.
