Suzanne and David’s Forde Abbey wedding was one I’d been looking forward to ever since I googled their venue at the time they booked me. A stunning 900 year old privately owned house and gardens it really is something special.
The ceremony took place at Forde Abbey in a magnificent high ceilinged room, complete with historic art work and lots of atmosphere. With a love of music, David and Suzanne had friends from the Imperial College choir perform during the service, as well as afriend playing on his classical guitar. The Arioso quartet also played as Suzanne walked down the aisle to marry David, very personal and really enjoyable.
After the ceremony we moved out into the gardens for a relaxed reception with Pimms and canapes for guests to enjoy. The venue really was a perfect choice, with large flowering gardens to explore, garden games for the children (and adults!) and there was even a spot of croquet on the lawn for everyone to enjoy.
Providing a shorter coverage to meet their requirements I was able to provide some beautiful images of their day. With naturally beautiful grounds at Forde Abbey it made my job easier as there were an abundance of lovely spots to choose from for their couple session.
Keeping it sweet, here are a very small selection of images from this Forde Abbey wedding. If you’re planning your own Forde Abbey wedding and would like to talk to me about photographing your day then do get in touch.
Hey dude, I’m passionately into the posts on your site. They are made clearly, easy to consume and remember, despite English being my 3rd language. Have you considered becoming writer?
