Alice and Ben found me after I photographed Alice’s best friends wedding back in 2016, she’d been Maid of Honour to her friend Jade at the time and got in touch with me a last year asking me to shoot her own wedding.
We met at beautiful Dyrham Park, a National Trust property located just outside of Bath. It was a really lovely sunny day and it was great to take a walk with these two and discuss their plans, shooting some relaxed portraits along the way. Our highlight aside from the fantastic views we got of the house whilst walking down the hill was seeing the deer, so many of them!
Pre-Wedding Engagement Photography in Avening, Cotswolds with Becky Male Photography
A brilliant, sunny morning spent in Avening for Hannah and Conrad’s engagement shoot. After ‘chewing the fat’ at their enormous kitchen table the three of us went for a little wander. We climbed up a hill, enjoyed the views and the rare sun, then returned for some images closer to their home. I’d been in email contact with these guys for nearly a year so it was great to actually meet and catch up, plus the session helped them to throw away any camera-related nerves they might have felt.
This engagement photography shoot was right up my street. Relaxed, on the beach and with a happy dog! Nicky and Richard are holding their winter wedding in Devon’s Deer Park Country Hotel so they met up with me last week for a walk along the beach, bringing their enthusiastic dog Poppy along to say hi. I love these two, down to earth and with a huge appreciation for photography, I’m just disappointed that Poppy won’t be at their wedding – but hey, muddy paws and a wedding cake aren’t the best combo!
Well I’d be lying if I told you that I didn’t enjoy this animal filled engagement shoot, I loved it. Spike and Charlie get married tomorrow in Kintbury and I’m very much looking forward to it.Continue reading →
